Join or start an affinity group today!

Our University affinity groups demonstrate our commitment to cultivating a vibrant and inclusive FIU Experience! Employee-initiated affinity groups provide faculty and staff with the opportunity to share interests and experiences with others. All affinity groups are formed and operated by employees on a voluntary basis and offer opportunities for employees to connect on a meaningful level beyond the traditional and/or organizational structure. At FIU, we are proud of our affinity groups - they also demonstrate our commitment to act in good faith with federal recommendations for attracting and retaining underrepresented minorities.

For questions or more information on affinity groups, email ace@fiu.edu.
